Our research group is made up of staff form the URV's Department of Analytical and Organic Chemistry of the Faculty of Chemistry, from the Department of Mechanical Engineering of the School of Chemical Engineering and EURECAT. Together with researchers from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, it is recognised as a consolidated research group (POLETPO) by the Catalan Government's Agency for Managing University and Research Grants (2009- SGR-1512, 2014-SGR-67 and 2017-SGR-77).
Our group's research activity mainly focuses on the synthesis, characterization and modelling of polymeric thermosetting functional materials, with particular emphasis on the curing procedures and technology. The advances and evolution of the research group has been possible thanks to numerous projects with public and private funding.
The group's activities also include the training and transmission of knowledge by participating actively in the teaching of various bachelor's, masters and doctoral programmes such as the:
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering
- Master's Degree in Synthesis, Catalysis and Molecular Design
- Master's Degree in Nanoscience, Materials and Processes: Cutting Edge Technology
- Doctoral Programme in Science and Chemical Technology
- Doctoral Programme in Nanoscience, Materials and Chemical Engineering
Our research Group forms part of the Department of Analytical and Organic Chemistry and Department of Mechanical Engineering of the URV.
